Hi all, Matthew here, guest-blogging for Genna, who is still in the hospital without an internet connection. I wanted to get some photos out to everyone though. Click on the photo to see more, and I will upload more pictures and video later.

Noah Scott Pearson was born yesterday at 11am, weighing 5lbs. 5oz. He's a tiny little tyke, but he and mom are doing great. I'm especially proud of Genna--she had the baby in 40 minutes with no pain meds! The doc was trying to give her an epidural but Noah wanted out! And actually, I don't think I suffered any permanent hearing loss as a result of it, so that's good. Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, and phone calls and we'll post more updates soon!

So we thought the hand in the picture was Matthew's then we realized it was Genna's. He is so tiny. All the Maynors think Noah is the cutest little guy. Thanks for posting pictures. We are dying to be there, but suppose four added people would be of no assistance right now. Again, we are really excited and can't wait to meet him. Give Abby lots of kisses from us, too. Lillian says having a little brother is really cool.

Congrats Congrats!! And do let us know if you need help with anything... food, cleaning, diapers (we do have some smaller sized ones.. maybe not quite for 5 lbs though.. 8 lbs, yes), etc! Can't wait to meet your "BBQ" no longer!

I don't know how to explain the feelings....to see your child's child. To think back to when that precious little girl was in your arms the same way. I am besides myself excited to come to meet our new little grandson and to snuggle with big sister Abby...Hey guys I am going get there ...maybe hopping one one foot! (Grandmoms SHOULD NOT break a leg this close to a new babys birth!)

OK Little Noah we have a pony waiting and Summertime on the Yellowstone or at Disney...
Phil...where is my mastercard?

5.5 pounds?! Perfect! Just about the right size for a good rack of BBQ. Not that I'm promoting cannibalism--just commenting on the aptness of the nickname is all.
